This Privacy Policy defines and informs customers of how MYCIO srl, hereinafter “MYCIO”, processes your personal data, hereinafter “personal data” as controller.

As data controller, our company is required to comply with the legal requirements in terms of data processing for purposes that it determines itself. It is responsible for the processing of personal data, in particular of its customers, prospects or partners.

The majority of MYCIO's activities are carried out as a subcontractor because we process personal data on the basis of instructions from the client who will therefore be considered as the data controller.

4. The data used about you

When you visit our website or when you use the services offered by MYCIO, we may, in certain cases, ask you to provide personal data. We make every effort to process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 “GDPR” of April 27, 2016.

Personal data is recorded in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management), in our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and in our CMS (Content Management System).

MYCIO undertakes to only process the personal data of its customers for the purposes described above. Unless expressly agreed in advance in writing, MYCIO is prohibited from processing data for other purposes.

 

6. Duration of treatments

Processing is carried out for the duration of the commercial relationship.

 

7. Duration of retention of your data

We keep your data for the time necessary to accomplish the objectives mentioned above. In any case, except for another retention period imposed by a legal or contractual obligation, the retention of personal data will not exceed 10 years after the end of the contractual relationship. At the end of the defined retention period, we undertake to erase, destroy or anonymize the personal data in a secure manner.

Computer security is a priority for MYCIO. We are constantly working to implement the appropriate technical and organizational measures to preserve the security of the personal data entrusted to us, in particular:

MYCIO must be able to operate as a business. The European regulation on the protection of personal data speaks of “legitimate interest”.

As a commercial enterprise, a number of legitimate interests form the basis of the processing we provide. We are concerned to ensure the quality of our services by respecting the balance between the impact that this processing may have on privacy and the legitimate interests of any company.

However, if you have any objections to certain processing, you can contact us. You can also exercise the rights that the regulations specific to the processing of personal data offer you.

Likewise, as soon as a contract is concluded or during pre-contractual measures, we are required to process the personal data of a customer contact or a supplier which are necessary for the performance of the contract.

 

10. Our subcontractors and our suppliers

For the execution of a certain number of operations we call upon:

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties, unless the latter are contractually bound to MYCIO or act at the request or in subcontracting of MYCIO. Their access is limited to the data they need to perform their task. MYCIO always requires from its subcontractors the organizational and technical protection measures required for personal data as well as to guarantee their strict confidentiality. MYCIO cannot be held responsible for the use that third parties make of your data.

We may obtain and collect personal data from third parties such as suppliers and customers in the event of a new business opportunity or prospecting.

MYCIO may, however, oppose manifestly abusive requests (by their number or their repetitive or systematic nature, for example). MYCIO undertakes to respond to any request for access, rectification or opposition, deletion or any other additional request for information within a reasonable time and in any case, within a maximum period of 1 month. from receipt of your request.
